Jacob Mahan Obituary
Jake was a 2017 graduate of William Henry Harrison High School. He earned his Associates of Applied Science Degree as an Apprentice Technology Glazier from Ivy Tech in 2024. He worked as a window and door glazier for Central Indiana Glass.
Jake was married to Sydney Walker on April 10, 2023 in Delphi, and she survives. He loved sitting around a bonfire while drinking a beer, and building things that were useful around the house. More than anything, he loved raising and spending time with his children.
In addition to his wife, Sydney Mahan, Jake is survived by his parents, James Russell Mahan and Valerie Lynn Mahan; children, Charlotte Mahan, Jace Giddens, Jarrett Giddens, and Judson Rouhier; sisters; Jenna (Wyatt) Anderson and Kassi (Clayton) Fyffe; grandparents, Jim Mahan, Deb Mahan, and Wayne Daunhauer; and nephews, Caleb Anderson, Bentley Daunhauer, and Connor Fyffe.
Jake was preceded in passing by his great grandparents, Kathryn Irene Mahan and John J. Mahan.
Visitation will be held at Hippensteel Funeral Home on Monday, February 16th from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at Hippensteel on Tuesday, February 17th at 10:00 a.m. Jake will then be laid to rest at Pleasant Run Cemetery in Pittsburg.

I am so sad and sorry that you´re gone, but I´m so glad that God made you. And put you here. It wasn´t long enough, but you were a bright star. You made everybody´s life brighter. I pray that you are in paradise with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
