Jacob Michael Petrowsky

Today, we mourn the passing of Jacob Michael Petrowsky, born on January 19, 2005 in Norwich, CT. Jacob was the beloved son of Julie Petrowsky and the cherished sibling of Jeremy and Celeste Petrowsky. He was also the adored nephew of Jennifer Saran, Sherri Holmes, Joseph Petrowsky, and Luis Suarez.
Jacob was a bright light in the lives of all who knew him. He had a smile that could light up a room, a kind heart, and a sense of humor that was truly special. He was a hard worker who strived to be the best in all that he did.
Jacob was an avid runner, competing in track and cross country for Plainfield High School. He made many personal relationships and gained a second family in the process. After high school, Jacob joined the Marines. He was eager and excited to serve his country.
Jacob was a great friend to many and loved to spend his down time gaming with his friends. He had a special bond with his cat, Shadow, and his favorite food was cinnamon toasters.
Jacob was a kind and gentle soul who was taken from us too soon. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. We will remember him for his infectious smile, his love for his family, and his dedication to his country. We will honor him by living our lives to the fullest and cherishing the memories we made with him.
Rest in peace, Jacob. We love you.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Jacob's family from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, December 28, 2023, in the Dougherty Brothers Funeral Home, 595 Norwich Rd, Plainfield.
