Jacob was born at Dominican Hospital in Santa Cruz, CA. He attended Twin Lakes Christian School, Soquel High School and Cal Poly San Luis Obispo College of Engineering.
Jacob was funny, silly, kind, insightful, empathic, sensitive, compassionate, caring, loyal, brilliant, athletic, and deeply loved. He was interested in outer space and alternative energy.
Jacob enjoyed gaming, creating AI, golfing, snowboarding, surfing, hiking, playing sports and spending time with friends and family.
Jacob is survived by his devoted parents Jeff and Denise Rogers, loving sister Hannah Rogers, adoring grandparents Jerry and Kathy DiBenedetto, Maris Azevedo, Dorothy Ann Delucchi, Dexter Rogers and Debbie Creach. Uncles and aunts Greg Azevedo, Dean Woodbridge, Star Rusca, Darrin Woodbridge and Melissa Bodily. He is also survived by great uncles, great aunts, cousins, extended family, friends and his loyal dog Buster. He is preceded in death by his grandfather Dave Woodbridge.
Our beloved Jacob, may you be free from illness, pain, sadness and anxiety. May you experience limitless joy and peace, breathe clearly and deeply, eat all the food, play with all the animals, explore the universe with the angels and be embraced in God's love. We will never forget you and will carry you in our hearts until we see you again.
Jacob's celebration of life will be held Jan 5, 2024 at 11:00am, Twin Lakes Church, Aptos,
