She was born on June 9, 1961, in Philippi, WV, a daughter to the late Columbus "Bob" and Halie Mae (Croston)Mayle.
Jacqualine was united in marriage to Blaine Junior Croston who preceded her in death.
She is survived by two sons, Brent Mayle, and companion Lisa, and Harley Croston, two daughters, Halie Norris, and her husband, Delane, Zonia Cooper, and her husband Raymond, twelve grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren, two brothers, Joseph Mayle, and his wife, Tammy, and Christopher Mayle, one sister, Toni Barnett, several nieces, and nephews.
Preceding her death are brothers, Rick Mayle, Bruce Mayle, Marcus Mayle, and Timothy Mayle.
Mrs. Croston attended the schools of Barbour County. She was a member, and attended church with her sister Toni, at the Silent Grove Church. She loved to raise gardens and flowers. Jacqualine loved to help the elderly out in the community and enjoyed making apple butter. She never ran into a stranger; she would carry on conversation with anyone she would meet. She loved her family with her whole heart. She was a wonderful lady and will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
Family and friends will be received at the Kittle Family Funeral Home 265 Beech Ave., Philippi on Saturday, October 1, 2022, from 1 pm until 8:00 pm., and again on Sunday, October 2, 2022, from 9:00 am., until 1 pm.A funeral service will be conducted from the funeral home chapel at 1 pm., with Evangelist Ezik S. Norris officiating and interment will follow in the Welch Cemetery near, Moatsville. In lieu of flowers the family has requested monetary donations be made to the Kittle Family Funeral to offset the cost of Jacqueline's funeral expenses. The Kittle Family Funeral Home 265 Beech Ave., Philippi is honored to be assisting the Croston Family with the arrangements.
