Jackie Edwards Stork, age 87, was born on April 20,1938, in Mobile, Alabama, and passed away peacefully in Mobile, Alabama on September 9, 2025. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Jackie was a precious soul, an angel sent by God to touch all of us with her love and grace. She spent her life devoted to others and cared deeply for every person no matter who they were. Her mission was to lift us all up with her love to be our best selves. She adored her pets and they were all special to her. She enjoyed playing bingo with her friends at Knollwood Pointe Assisted Living. Our hearts are broken, but we are grateful God shared her with us, for she was truly the light and joy of our lives and we will love her forever. Jackie was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church Theodore, where she was a dedicated follower of Christ and served many roles within the church. For over 20 years, Jackie enjoyed working at Theodore High School and Barton Academy. After her retirement, she enjoyed her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by both her parents Bubba Edwards and Eilane Edwards, her husband Wayne Stork along with her daughter, Sheila (Stork) Burgess who she missed dearly since her passing three years ago. Left to cherish her memory are her son, Gerald Stork (Laura); grandsons, Taylor Shepherd, Blake Shepherd (Hannah), Louis Stork (Mikayla), Cooper Stork (Justice), Alex Stork; great grandchildren, Benson Shepherd, Brody Stork, Sawyer Stork, Emory Stork and Clayton Stork; her beloved cats; other relatives and many friends.
