It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Jacqueline C. Blossy, 99, of Somers, NY on July 14, 2022.
Jacqueline was born on August 10, 1922 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Armand and Lavinia (Casazza) Cominelli. She married the love of her life, Henry Blossy (2003) on November 15, 1942 at St. Augustine's Church in Larchmont, NY.
Jacqueline was a homemaker who loved taking care of her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Jacqueline loved playing golf, staying active, she also enjoyed traveling, dancing, visits to her favorite casinos, but most of all Jacqueline's greatest joy was spending time with her family.
She was loyal parishioner of St. Augustine's Church in Larchmont, NY.
She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
Jacqueline was predeceased by her beloved husband of 61 years, Henry Blossy, who passed away in 2003.
She is survived by her loving children, Christine Blossy and her husband Gregory Brown, Andrew Blossy and Paul Blossy and his wife Manuela, as well as four adoring grandchildren, Hannah, Steven, Christopher and Devin. She is predeceased by her sister Arliene Deming.
At this time, all services to celebrate Jacqueline's life will be private.
A Memorial Mass will take place at St. Augustine's RC Church in Larchmont, NY at a later date. Jacqueline will be laid to rest alongside her beloved husband Henry Blossy in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY.
