Jacqueline "Jackie" Ann Bower, 79, of Washington, IA, died, Friday, April 22, 2022, after a short illness.
Memorial service will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 30, 2022, at Faith Baptist Church, Washington, IA with Pastor Jon Rees officiating. Visitation will be 4:00 to 7:00 PM, Friday, April 29, 2022, at the Church. There will be a private graveside at Columbus City Cemetery. Livestream will be available on Faith Baptist YouTube Channel. Beatty Peterseim Funeral, Cremation Care and Monument Service is assisting with arrangements. Memorials in lieu of flowers may be made to Faith Baptist Church.
A Memorial service will also be 11:00 AM, Saturday, May 7, 2022, at the Bethel Assembly of God in Sycamore, IL.
Jackie was born August 27, 1942, in Chicago, Illinois to Harry and Harriet (Slenger) Lundin. She was united in marriage to Jimmie Bower July 2, 1994, at Calvary Assembly of God church in Crystal Lake, IL. Jackie was a faithful member of Faith Baptist Church. She enjoyed crafts, puzzles, reading, painting, and traveling with her husband.
Survivors include husband Jimmie Bower, daughters Victoria (Jay) Nelson, Elizabeth (the late Larry) Thomas, Jennifer (Joe) Roberts, Amy (Tim) Cook, and son, Andrew (Bryann) Aguilera. She was the loving grandmother of 19 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. She also leaves a void in the hearts of Jim's children, Jeff (Jeanie) Bower, Jason (Kari) Bower, and Lisa Bower, and of course extended family and many loving friends. Jackie's faith was her foundation in life and the loving arms of her Heavenly Father carried her home.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Donna, and brother Harry Edward.
