Jacqueline "Jackie" Brumback, 93, of Gray Hawk, passed away Friday October 24, 2025, at the Jackson Manor Nursing Home. She was born on October 20, 1932, in Jackson County to the late Jesse Albert and Mary Belle (Burns) Madden.
Jackie is survived by her children Randy (Jenifer) Brumback of Tyner and Vicki Brumback of Oak Ridge, TN. Her brother Eddie Joe (Sue) Madden and brother-in-law Troy Coffey both of Gray Hawk. She was blessed with the following grandchildren, Miranda Parker, Tausha Hughes, Nick Brumback, Nathan Brumback, Jessie Parrett and Tyrah Brumback and great grandchildren, Hunter Parker, Hailee Parker, Hawkins Hughes, Anderson Hughes, Scarlett Jacqueline Brumback, Heidi Brumback, Kenna Brumback, McKenzie Jackson, Hunter Jackson and Kaylie Jackson.
In addition to her parents Jackie was preceded in death by her loving husband Tyra, two sisters Elaine Smith, Connie Coffey and a brother-in-law Logos Smith.
A special thanks to Sue Smith, Wilma Medlock and the Jackson Manor Nursing Home.
Jackie was a member of the Gray Hawk Baptist Church, where she was the pianist for 75 years.
Funeral Services will be held at 1 P.M. Wednesday October 29, 2025, with Bro. Ronald Rose, Bro. Shawn Madden and Bro. Brody Keck presiding. Burial will follow Sandlin Cemetery. Pallbearers include Nick Brumback, Nathan Brumback, Jody Madden, Joshua Madden, Justin Madden and Troy Joe Coffey.
A visitation will begin at 10:30 A.M. on Wednesday at the Lakes Funeral Home Chapel in McKee.
In lieu of flowers please make donations to Hospice.
