Jacqueline Denise Cannon was born on April 12, 1962, in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, to Willie Cooks and Lottie (Merrell) Cooks.

She was a devoted member of Omaha First Baptist Church in Omaha, Texas, and a proud graduate of Paul Pewitt High School, Class of 1980.

Jacqueline dedicated her life to caring for others, working for many years as a provider in the home healthcare industry. Her warmth, compassion, and strength left a lasting impact on all who knew her. She was also a board member of Cannon Youth Center, Inc.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Lottie Selena (Merrell) Campbell, and her fathers, Willie Cooks and James Campbell.

Jacqueline leaves to cherish her memory her beloved son and daughter-in-law, Moses and Terry Cannon of El Paso, Texas; her cherished grandchildren, Makayla Cannon, Andretti Cannon, and Yeezy Cannon; her brother, Frederick Cooks; and her nieces, Kalisha Moten and London Eiland. She is also survived by nephews Cordero Cooks, James Earle, Brandon McGill, and Damien Thomas; special friends Kimberly Grier, Oliver Cannon, Karen Watson, Louisa Hicks and Juanitta Williams; along with a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends who will miss her dearly.

Her legacy of love and kindness will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
