In Loving Memory of Jacqueline F. Caré (née Rizzo)1948 - 2025
Jacqueline F. Caré, affectionately known as Jackie, passed away on September 28, 2025, at the age of 77, after courageously facing a long illness. A resident of Clementon, New Jersey, and formerly of Philadelphia, Jackie was surrounded by love until the very end.
She was the beloved wife of Raphael Caré, and the devoted mother of Karen Miller (Keith) and Joe Giacobbe. Her joy in life was most evident in her role as loving grandmother to Sophia, Jake, and Josephine. Jackie was also the dear sister of Len and Pat Rizzo, Kathy Rizzo and Cathy Aversa. She is survived by many cherished cousins, nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends. She was predeceased by her beloved parents, Jack and Sophie Rizzo and her dear brother, Joe Rizzo.
Jackie lived her life with a generous heart, a vibrant laugh, and a deep desire to lift others up. Whether it was helping people quit smoking, rescuing dogs in need, or simply brightening someone's day with a kind word or joyful spirit, Jackie made the world lighter for those lucky enough to know her. She never asked for much, but gave so much of herself to everyone around her.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Gardner Funeral Home in Runnemede, NJ, followed by a memorial service at 3:00 PM.
