Jacqueline A. (Duquette) Carvalho, 86, of Fall River, Massachusetts, passed away at her home on Monday, February 23, 2026.

She was the beloved wife of the late Benjamin D. Carvalho.

Born in Fall River, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Imelda (Larrivee) Duquette.

Jacqueline dedicated her career to the local textile industry, working as an inspector for the former Aberdeen Manufacturing. A very devoted Catholic, her faith was a central pillar of her daily life. She faithfully watched Mass every Sunday, and always made it a point to pray before meals. In her free time, Jacqueline found great joy and a creative outlet in cake decorating, but most of all she enjoyed being around with her family and friends.

She is survived by her son, Richard P. Duquette (Dawn Arruda); her siblings, Norman Duquette (Maryann Duquette) and Constance Decoret (Tony Amaral); her three grandchildren, Heather Duquette (Louis), Richard Duquette Jr. (Kaitlin) and Everett R. Costa III; her two great-grandchildren, Grayson Duquette and Nicholas Soares. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Robert Duquette and Lorraine Sherman.

Her visitation will be held on Friday, March 6th, from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Oliveira Funeral Home - South Main St. Chapel, 2064 S. Main St., Fall River, MA, followed by a Funeral Mass at Holy Trinity Church at 11 AM, Stafford Rd. Interment at Notre Dame Cemetery in Fall River.
