Plattsburgh - Jacqueline J. (LaBombard) Dumar, passed away peacefully at Meadowbrook nursing home on Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at the age of 90 years old, after a long courageous battle with Dementia.
Born August 14, 1934 in Plattsburgh, daughter of Leo Robert LaBombard and Bernadette Angelina (Parrott) Labombard, both deceased.
Jackie was born and raised in Plattsburgh where she met her husband William J. Dumar and married him on January 31, 1953. William predeceased her.
She was employed by the Royal Savage as a waitress and she also worked at the Alert Center on base and at Walmart as a cashier.
She enjoyed her cats, going to Bingo, spending time with family, crafting, especially crocheting.
She is survived by her children, Louann E.(Dumar) Nolan, deceased, Alen J.Dumar and his wife Gina Dumar of Morrisonville, twin daughters, Rose M. (Dumar)Foster of Plattsburgh and Rosalie A. (Dumar) Leveille and husband Raoul Leveille of Montréal Quebec, and Christopher E. Dumar and wife Karoline, of Plattsburgh. 12 grandchildren, 13 great- grandchildren and 1 great-great-grand child, Her twin brother Gerald Labombard and 2 sisters June (Labombard) Bouyea and Janice (Labombard) Scriver, as well as a number of nieces nephews and cousins.
The world has lost a beautiful person, until we meet again, you will be deeply loved and missed. Rest in peace and God bless you for being a part of our lives.
Graveside services will be held in the Spring at St. Peter's Cemetery with a Celebration of Life to follow.
Donations in her memory may be made to the Morrisonville Schuyler Falls Volunteer Ambulance Service, 21 Banker Road, Morrisonville, NY 12962.
