Jacqueline Marie "Jackie" Glowack

JACQUELINE "JACKIE" MARIE (LISOWSKI) GLOWACK Jacqueline "Jackie" Marie (Lisowski) Glowack peacefully passed away on Sunday, December 14, 2025 at Rainy Lake Medical Center after a brief illness, surrounded by family and friends. Jackie was born on August 9, 1945, and spent her entire life in International Falls, MN. Jackie was the daughter of Jack and Annette (Growette) Lisowski. She graduated from Falls Sr. High School as a proud member of the class of 1963. Jackie was united in marriage to Thomas Benjamin Glowack on November 26, 1968. They made their home in International Falls. Jackie worked for Bremer bank before moving to St. Thomas Aquinas Church where she worked for the parish for many years. Jackie's passions were Rainy Lake, the hunting shack in Littlefork, and photography where she was a chicky in the Pixel Chicks photography club. She was also very active in planning and organizing the Class of 1963 reunions, a member of the Cemetery Board, a volunteer for the Ogichi Gaa Kwe girls camp and Voyageurs National Park for many years, and was recognized as the International Falls Citizen of the Year in 2017. Jackie was preceded in death by her husband of nearly 56 years, Tom, parents Jack and Annette Lisowski, her in-laws Ben and Lois Glowack, as well as too many close relatives and friends to mention. Jackie is survived by in-laws Jim and Rainy Glowack; nephews, Michael (Lisa) Glowack and Marc (Rachel) Glowack; nieces, Marijo (Marlin) Witte and Michelle (Tom) Montgomery; nine great-nephews; three great-nieces; three great-great-nephews, and three great-great-nieces; special family, Taffy Walls and her children, Terri (Kevin) Nagurski, Kelly (Kevin) Gordan, Billy (Karen) Walls, and Eric (Sandi) Walls cousins, Michael (Gerri) Growette, Sherry Schroeder, Fred (Mellisa) Schroeder, Vicki Anderson, Connie (Alex) Gross, Lynne (Duane) Courteau, George (Sue) Fraik, Michelle (Bob) Hunter, Ramona (Greg) Schluender, Joey Allen Growette, Georgia Growette (Kirk Skallman), Kurt (Patty) Growette, special cousin, Lisa Growette Bostaph (William King); goddaughter, Katie (John) Kasel, and all their families. A memorial mass and celebration of life will be held in the late spring of 2026 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic church in International Falls.
