Jacqueline A. Jalbert

Sturbridge: Jacqueline "Jackie" A. (Langevin) Jalbert, 92, of Burgess School Rd., passed away on November 3rd at Southbridge Rehab and Healthcare Center, after an illness.

Jacqueline was predeceased by her husband of 46 years, Roger "Biddy" H. Jalbert in 1999. She leaves her sons, John J. Jalbert and his wife Anne of Southbridge and Jamie A. Jalbert and his long-time companion Anna Smith of Sterling, CT; her loving daughter, Joy E. Jalbert and her long-time companion Terry Davis of Sturbridge; grandchildren, Jessy Marcucci and her husband Sergio, Jeremy Jabert and his wife Jolene, Jaime Rainha and her husband Ruben, Joey Jalbert and his wife Lauren, and Jenna Dimarco and her husband Mike; She also leaves eleven great grandchildren and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Jacqueline was predeceased by her brother Albert Langevin.

Jacqueline was born in Southbridge, the daughter of Joseph V. and Leona (Laliberte) Langevin.

Jackie was a respected manager of the Drawing Department at AO/Schott Fiber Optics. Jackie was a kind and gentle person who was exceptional at loving, nurturing, listening to, and caring for her loved ones and friends. Her favorite hobbies were traveling, gardening, listening to music, and she loved to dance! She enjoyed trips to the casino with her friend, Al Goodreau, spending winters in Florida and summers at Cedar Lake in Sturbridge. She would never miss a 4:00 "Happy Hour" with a glass of wine in her hand and her beautiful smile. Jackie also cherished her moments spent in the company of Gerry LeBlanc of Southbridge. Their companionship and bond allowed them to travel happily together, including a relaxing cruise to Alaska.

Jackie will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her but will live in our hearts forever!

The family would like to extend a special and heartfelt "THANK YOU" to all the Third Floor Staff of the Southbridge Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center for the exceptional care and loving attention they provided to our Jackie - Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother, during her time at their facility.

A Funeral Mass and Burial for Jacqueline will be held at a later date.
