Jacqueline "Jacqui" Antoinette Johnston, 58, of Billings, Montana, passed away on August 26, 2025, in Billings.

Jacqui was born on July 16, 1967, in Billings to Dennis L. Johnston and Charmaine (Cheri) L. Johnston (Ramus). At the age of two, her family moved to California, but she returned to Montana at age ten. She attended Bench and Castle Rock schools and graduated from Billings Senior High School in 1986, where she was a member of the gymnastics team.

After high school, Jacqui attended Brooks College in Long Beach, California, specializing in fashion and graphic arts design. She later pursued an education as a Medical Assistant and worked with Ortho Montana.

Her creativity was vast, spanning from jewelry design to woodworking. A notable project was building a teardrop camper, complete with an intricate handcrafted interior she designed and carved herself.

Jacqui married James V. Day Jr. on December 15, 1990, and together they welcomed their son, Kincaid L. Day, on May 30, 1991. She later married Chan L. Taylor of Huntley, Montana, on March 1, 1997. Jacqui and Chan welcomed three children: Faith, Richard (Rick), and Margaret (Maggie), who married Colby Zentner. Jacqui was also the proud grandmother of Pryar, Brinley, and Braelynn Zentner.

She is survived by her parents, her children, and her grandchildren. Jacqui was deeply devoted to her family and was an avid supporter of her children's athletic pursuits at Huntley Project School.
