Jacqueline Anne Mancuso, age 84, of Lyndhurst, Ohio, passed away peacefully on May 15, 2025, at the David Simpson Hospice House, surrounded by love.
Born on November 14, 1940, in Cheltenham, England, Jackie brought her gentle spirit and vibrant presence across the ocean to make a beautiful life in the United States. She was the beloved wife of the late Theodore A. "Teddy" Mancuso, with whom she shared nearly forty years of love and devotion.
A loving and selfless mother, Jackie will be deeply missed by her children: Craig Mancuso (Deborah, deceased), Tracey Swisher (Scott), and Lisa Mancuso. She was a proud and doting grandmother to her cherished granddaughter, Samantha Mancuso, who brought her boundless joy and pride.
Jackie was preceded in death by her parents, Cyril and Blanche Mills (née Pearse), and leaves behind a loving extended family, including her dear sister-in-law Maureen Ferlin (Frank), her niece Hallie Sly (Ian), and many others whose lives she touched.
Jackie worked for many years at Progressive Insurance in Mayfield Village, where she was known for her dedication and warmth. After retiring, she enjoyed a life filled with the simple pleasures she loved most-driving through the countryside, dining out, caring for her home, and above all, spending time with her family. She was an avid animal lover and found comfort in the company of pets throughout her life.
A lifelong fan of PBS, Jackie especially loved British programming, which connected her to her roots and brought her countless hours of enjoyment. Her quiet strength, kindness, and nurturing spirit will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
The family takes comfort in knowing that Jackie is now reunited in heaven with her beloved Teddy.
A visitation will be held Saturday, May 24, 2025 at the Fioritto Funeral Home, 5236 Mayfield Rd., Lyndhurst, OH from 11:00 – 1:00 PM. A prayer service will begin at 1:00 PM, followed by interment at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in Jackie's memory to Hospice of the Western Reserve, P.O. Box 72101, Cleveland, OH 44192, whose care and compassion provided peace and comfort in Jackie's final days.
Jackie's love lives on in the hearts of those who knew her. May her memory be a blessing.
Arrangements are entrusted to McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Homes in Willoughby and Mentor.
