Jacqueline Marie Pecararo

Jacqueline Marie Pecararo, of Hammond, Louisiana, peacefully passed on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at the age of 93. She was born on Wednesday, April 6, 1932, in Sarasota, Florida, the daughter of the late Thomas Pecararo and Lucille Magro Pecararo.

Jacqueline was a devout catholic and a parishioner of Holy Ghost Catholic Church. She worked as a secretary for many years at Southeastern Louisiana University. In her spare time, she could often be found doing crossword puzzles to keep her mind sharp. Above all else, she loved to spend time with her family, making lasting memories that they will forever cherish.

Jacqueline is survived by her brother, Joseph Pecararo and his wife, Bernadette; nieces and nephews, Andrea Smith, Amy Yother, Michelle Wallace, and Joseph Pecararo Jr. She is also survived by numerous great nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Jacqueline was preceded in death by her brother, Andrew Pecararo, and her nephew, Thomas Pecararo.

Family and friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home - Hammond, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd, Hammond, Louisiana 70401 on Friday, November 14, 2025, from 9:30 am until the funeral service begins at 11:00 am.

Interment will follow at Rose Memorial Park Cemetery in Hammond, Louisiana.
