Obituary of Jacqueline Gayle Potter
Jacqueline Gayle "Jackie" Potter, 71, wife of Daniel Potter, passed away on March 28, 2024 in Lexington after a long battle with Parkinson's disease. Jackie was born in Maysville, Kentucky on December 21, 1952 to the late Clarence "Ted" Beckett and Marie Beckett. Jackie was a beloved homemaker to her family and was known to love watching cooking and true crime shows. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her husband, Daniel, she is survived by her daughters, Melinda Elaine (Brian) Leet, and Melissa Ellen Heaton; step-children, Dana L. (Robbie) Holmes and Steven C. (Mandy) Potter; sister, Bonnie Lee; and grandchildren, Chase Kenneth Hill, Michaela Elizabeth Samara Heaton, Mia ElainaMei Heaton, Maria-Kyana Ellen Heaton, Jacob C. Holmes, Chloe M. Potter, Mia Claire Potter, Sydney M. Potter, and Lainey Cate Potter.
In addition to her parents, Jackie was preceded in death by her brothers, June Beckett and Noel Lynn Beckett; and grandchildren, Seth Christopher Potter and Jacob Hill.
A memorial service will be held for Mrs. Jacqueline Potter on Saturday, May 11, 2024 at Rosemont Baptist Church at 1pm.
