James “Jimmy” Warren Brewster, 73, widower of Janet “Jan” Martha Lindsay Brewster, died on Monday, September 22, 2025, at his home in Nicholasville, Kentucky. He was born in Akron, Ohio on May 16, 1952, and was raised by his grandmother, Nellie Ramsey. Jimmy retired from the Jessamine County Board of Education where he was a school bus driver. He is survived by two daughters, Brittany Graham and Jamie Stephenson, and six grandchildren, Jarred Brewster and his wife, Aidah, Kailey Brewster, and her husband Josh, Aiden Graham, Sydney Hagerman and her husband, Kevin, Jaidyn Stephenson and Aubrey Stephenson. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 PM, on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at Betts & West Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Tuesday prior to the service. Jimmy was a BIG University of Kentucky fan. The family ask that everyone please come dressed in their favorite U.K. gear.
