Ms. Jacqueline "Jackie" Drakeford Redmond, age 82, beloved wife to the late Gerald Cecil Redmond, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday April 30, 2025 at her home in Warrenville, SC.
In addition to her husband she is preceded in death by her son, Anthony John "Tony" Redmond; daughter, Beverly Ann Redmond; brother, Jimmie "Buddy" Drakeford; and parents, Neal and Addiebell Drakeford.
She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Tina Redmond; grandchildren, April (Ralph) Graham, John Derrick (Madison) Redmond, Justin Anthony Redmond; six great grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and sister, Frances Jordan.
Ms. Redmond worked for Graniteville Company at Hickman Mill. She is a lifetime resident of Aiken County and a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Aiken, SC. She will be deeply missed by all whose lives she touched.
A funeral service honoring her life will be held on Friday May 2, 2025 at 3pm in the chapel of Jackson Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Brancie Stephens and Pastor Stan Adams officiating. The interment will follow at the Warrenville Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
The grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
