She graduated from Dover Air Force Base High School and later graduated from Texas Lutheran College in San Marcos. Her first job was as an accountant with the City of San Marcos. Along her journey in life, she met her future husband Scott who was her neighbor while they were in elementary school and high school. They were married in Texas in 1983.
Scott was in the Army. So, along with being a new bride, a new wife, and future mother, she was drafted into the ranks of unsung heroes "Army Wives". She served as an Army Wife for over 17 years, living in North Carolina, Washington State, Kentucky, Hawaii, back to Kentucky, and back to North Carolina. Jackie has three great kids Sean, Samantha, and Jason; Kevin (son in-law), Amy (daughter in-law), Jeri (sister in-law), Kathi (sister in-law) and two grandchildren Finn and Eli.
The memorial Service will be held:
Good Shepherd Lutheran Church
