Jacqueline "Jackie" Wallace, a beacon of love and laughter, departed this life on December 3, 2024, at the age of 73. Born on September 10, 1951, in Town Creek, Alabama, Jackie was a spirited soul who brought joy to all who had the privilege of knowing her. With a great sense of humor that could light up even the darkest days, she was a cherished presence in the lives of her family and friends.
Jackie was a loving mother to her four children-Romanda Wallace, Eddie Wallace III (Kristen), Donell Wallace, and Chris Wallace. Her pride and joy were not only her children but also her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, from whom she drew endless delight. To Jackie, family was everything; her proudest accomplishments were measured not in accolades or titles, but in the laughter, love, and warmth of the home she created. She also leaves behind her siblings, Louise Patton, Richard Deloney, and Frankie (Tina) Brown.
Jackie was preceded in death by her parents, Frankie Deloney and Lucy Smith Deloney, as well as one brother and three sisters.
Jackie's essence will continue to shine through her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, reminding us all of the importance of love, laughter, and joy.
Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, December 12, 2024 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Cremation was chosen following Jackie's wishes.
