Jacqueline Xibos Obituary
Jacqueline Lois Xibos (Lehrmann) of Jamison, PA, died peacefully on Friday, May 23, 2025 at Doylestown Hospital. She was 87 years old.
Jacqueline (Jacky) was the beloved wife of the late Edward Augustus Xibos. The couple was married for 33 years at the time of Edward's passing in 1992.
Born in Somerville, New Jersey, Jacqueline was the daughter of the late John P Lehrmann and Helen Anna Kammerer. Jacky was a graduate of Cheltenham High School, class of 1956. She married Eddie Xibos in February of 1959. In 1969, they purchased their home in Jamison, PA, where she lived for 55 years. She was incredibly fortunate to be surrounded by many special neighbors who became lifelong friends.
Jacky held several jobs throughout the years, but she was most happy as a devoted homemaker, wife and mom. She loved her home in Jamison, and enjoyed watching all the birds and wildlife that would roam her property. She loved flowers and enjoyed planting colorful gardens each season. She was very active with her daughter's school, where she helped students with reading, served as room mother, and was always willing to get involved in any way. She never missed an event or activity that her daughter was involved in.
Jacqueline was the beloved mother of Dianne Mann (Xibos), mother-in-law to Scott Mann, and grandmother to Dylan Mann and Olivia Mann. She loved her family and her family loved her. She loved buying unique gifts and spent months hunting for the "perfect" gift for her loved ones. She accompanied her daughter and grandchildren on countless adventures throughout the area, where they made wonderful, lasting memories. She loved games and was always playing them, whether it was neighborhood game nights, Nintendo Playstation, the neighborhood Bowling league, playing games on her iPad, volleyball in her backyard, or board games and card games with family.
Jacky was not only an incredibly talented seamstress, but also an amazing crocheter who created beautiful afghans as shower gifts for relatives and friends. Over the years, her passion for sewing, combined with her talent of making her own draperies, evolved into a steady stream of requests from people to create custom draperies, pillows, duvets, etc. for their private homes and businesses. She has designed draperies for fire halls, has collaborated with interior designers, and her custom interior work can be found throughout Bucks, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties. She has "dressed" countless homes with her beautiful work, and has touched many lives with her gifts.
Jacky was known for her "epic" Fourth of July picnics, where anyone and everyone would always be welcomed. Everyone was comfortable around Jacky, as she was warm and welcoming to all. She enjoyed entertaining and loved being surrounded by friends and family. She was funny and loved to laugh. Many warm memories were made, hundreds of photos were taken, and much laughter was had, around her lovely kitchen table in Jamison.
Jacky will be remembered as a sweet, wonderful, loving woman who lived life simply, surrounded by loved ones, and who taught us many life lessons along the way.
Jacqueline will be missed tremendously.
Relatives and friends are invited to greet Jacqueline's family on Friday, May 30, 2025 from 11:00am, until the start of her Tribute at 12:00pm. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery in Roslyn, PA.
