Jacquelyn A. (Jackie) Becker peacefully passed away on January 14, 2025. She was born in Sewickley, Pennsylvania, on January 14, 1946, to Mr. John and Marietta Russen. Jackie's meticulous nature was evident in the significance of her birth and passing on the same date.
Jackie is survived by her husband of 58 years, Al Becker; her daughter, Jessica Dever (Guy); her son, Joshua (Shawna); grandsons Elijah and Jacob; granddaughters Amaris, Jocelyn, and Jada; great-granddaughter Eden; sisters Debbie Sovich (Paul), Darcy Deakin (Rich), and Colleen McLaughlin (Gary); brother Gary Russen (Lori); a wealth of nieces and nephews; and a large group of "adopted" sons and daughters.
Jackie retired from Capri Cosmetology School after teaching for over 25 years. She was deeply loved by her students, not only for her technical expertise in cosmetology but also for her ability to impart valuable life lessons through her teaching. She is greatly missed by everyone who knew her.
A memorial service will be scheduled for a later date. In lieu of flowers, Jackie's family would appreciate donations to the St. Francis of Assisi Music Ministry at St. Francis Catholic Church, 15050 Wolf Rd, Orland Park, IL, 60467.
