Jacquelyn Collier Obituary
Jackie was a devoted daughter, mother, and grandmother. She was also a beloved figure at the former Quick Stop Mart on Goldsboro Street in Wilson where she worked for twenty-six years. She always went out of her way to help others; she did not know a stranger. She was determined to prove others wrong when they told her she couldn't do something. She took great joy in fishing, gardening, caring for her cats, and spending time with her pride and joy – her grandson, Warren.
Jackie is survived by her son, Joseph Collier of Lucama; daughter, Alice Sykes and her husband John Womble of Goldsboro; grandson, Warren Womble of Goldsboro; brother, Danny Collier and his wife Aimee of Wilson; sister-in-law, Cindy Collier of Rocky Mount; brothers, James Collier and wife Terra of Selma, Leonard "Lyn" Collier and wife Linda of Lucama, Thomas "Chris" Collier and wife Bonnie of Lucama; and numerous nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, and grand-nephews she loved dearly.
She is preceded in death by father, Leonard Allison "LA" Collier; mother, Josephine "Jo" Barnes Collier; brother, Marvin "Mark" Collier; and niece, Danielle Collier.
