Jacquelyn "Jackie" Ann Flock, age 75, of
Tomah, Wisconsin, passed away Sunday, November 2, 2025, at the Serenity House in Tomah. Born on March 13, 1950, to Robert and Arlys (Johnson) Steele. Jackie's life was marked by her unwavering commitment to service, her infectious humor, and her boundless generosity.
After graduating from Tomah High School in 1968, Jackie pursued her passion for helping others by obtaining a bachelor's degree in Social Work from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. Her early career as a social worker allowed her to make a direct and positive impact on the lives of many individuals. Eventually, Jackie joined her family business at Steele Rexall Drugs in Tomah, where she worked alongside her father and brother. Her role in the family business further solidified her as a pillar of the Tomah community. Through her work, she established deep roots and lasting connections with those she served.
Jackie's impact on Tomah was not limited to her professional life. She was a tireless advocate for the downtown area, devoting her time and resources to its development and prosperity. Her involvement with many service organizations reflected her deep-seated belief in civic duty and the power of generosity.
On April 5, 1975, she married Tom Flock, and together they shared a life filled with love and laughter. Their love was mutual – they were each other's greatest support. Jackie's love for her family was the cornerstone of her life, and she cherished every moment spent with her family.
Jackie's sense of humor brought laughter and lightness to any situation, and her presence was a source of joy for friends, family, and colleagues alike. Jackie's generosity knew no bounds; she gave freely of her time, resources, and energy to anyone in need. Her actions often spoke louder than her words. She will be deeply missed.
