Jacquelyn Massey Hall

Mrs. Jacquelyn Massey Hall, age 77, of Gainesville, Georgia, passed away at her residence on Wednesday, February 18th, 2026.

Mrs. Hall was born on September 3rd, 1948 in Canon, Georgia, to the late Kermit Elmer and Jessie McCloud Massey. She was of the Baptist faith and worked as a Bookkeeper for Liberty Mutual Insurance Company. Mrs. Hall is preceded in death by brother and sister-in law Jimmy and Pat Massey and sister-in-law Freida Hall Travis.

Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Mr. Donald Fred Hall, of the home in Gainesville, Georgia; daughter and son-in-law Jessica and Scott Appling of Lavonia, Georgia; grandchildren and spouses Alex and Brett Breedlove, Dylan Appling, and Logan Tatum; brother and sister-in-law Doug and Jan Hall of Ellijay; nieces and nephews Sandy Whitworth, Angy (Sandy) Fowler, Brandon (Christine) Hall, Beth (Steve) Jarvis, Jennifer (Eric) Colson, and Cole Hall.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00pm on Sunday, February 22nd, 2026 from the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Eric Colson officiating. Special music will be by Riley Gilbert and Brock Fowler.

Interment will follow in the Mountaintown Baptist Church Cemetery with the following gentleman serving as pallbearers: Doug Roe, Daniel Hyde, Alan Hall, Tim Hall, Steve Jarvis, Cole Hall, Brandon Hall, Sandy Fowler, Brock Fowler, and Charles Hall.

The family will receive friends from 1:00pm until 3:00pm on Sunday, February 22nd, 2026 at the Logan Funeral Home.

The family is accepting flowers, or memorial contributions may be made to the Gilmer Christian Learning Center, in c/o Jennifer Colson, 183 Bobcat Trail, Ellijay, Georgia 30540, in memory of Mrs. Hall.
