Jacquelyn A "Jackie" Thiele

HILLSBOROUGH- It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Jacquelyn A. Thiele, age 75, on Monday, December 23, 2024 at Foothill Acres in Hillsborough, NJ surrounded by her loving family. Born on September 15, 1949 in Englewood, NJ to the late Elizabeth and Patrick Canonica.
Jackie was a graduate of Bergenfield High School Class of 1967. She married the love of her life Robert "Bob" and together they raised their family of three children in Bergenfield and River Vale, NJ. Jackie had 22 years of service with Bank of America in various positions, ultimately retiring as an Assistant Branch Manager. She then enjoyed her time as a receptionist at Oradell Animal Hospital. Upon moving to Hillsborough, and up until this past October, she had great pleasure working with her son, Robert, at his medical practice in Bridgewater, NJ. Over the years Jackie loved traveling with her family to Ocean City, NJ, Disney World and going on numerous cruises. Jackie enjoyed train travel including numerous trips to Rhode Island to visit her son, Kevin, and family and also a cross-country trip to California to visit family. She was an avid cook and gardener. In her spare time, Jackie also looked forward to spending time with her dogs and finding time to go shopping. All who knew her will remember her as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate to know her.
Jackie is survived by her beloved husband of 54 years, Robert E. "Bob" Thiele, Jr., her loving children Dr. Robert Thiele and wife Tammy of Hillsborough, NJ, Cherilyn "Sherry" Caucci and husband James of Perkasie, Pa. and Kevin Thiele and wife Courtney of Bristol, Rhode Island, her cherished grandchildren Taylor and Madison Thiele of Hillsborough, NJ, Christopher Caucci of Perkasie, Pa. and Eleanor Thiele of Bristol, Rhode Island and her sister Jean Klucharits and husband John of Emerson, NJ.
Jacquelyn is predeceased by her parents.
A viewing will be on Sunday, January 5, 2025 from 2:00pm to 6:00pm at the funeral home. Funeral services Monday, January 6, 2025 beginning with a viewing from 8:30am to 9:30am at the funeral home followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00am at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, 35 Mountain Avenue, Somerville, NJ 08876. Entombment at St. Bernard Cemetery, Bridgewater, NJ.
