North Augusta, SC – Funeral Services for Jacquelyn Marie Valentine, 75, who entered heaven, greeted by her precious Savior, Jesus, March 5, 2024, will be conducted Saturday morning at 10 o'clock from the Posey Funeral Chapel, Dr. Brian Ragle officiating. Interment will follow in Pineview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
Mrs. Valentine was born January 9, 1949, in Columbus, Ohio to the late Garland and Rosella Redick. She was a longtime and active member of First Baptist Church of Milford, Ohio. Mrs. Valentine was a volunteer at Bearing Precious Seed, a Bible printing ministry in Milford, Ohio. This is also where she first met her husband Charles almost 40 years ago. She was a loving wife, mother, and mammaw who liked to cook, decorate her home, and spend time with her family. She loved classic old movies and music – especially anything Christmas. She was quick to laugh and radiated kindness to all with a loving smile. She adored her grandchildren and loved doing special things to create memories for her entire family. She loved telling people about Jesus and how much he loved them. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Ann Myers, Sharon Meyers, Debbie Klopfenstein, and Mary Redick.
Survivors include her husband, Charles Valentine; daughter, Tonya Ragle (Brian); son, Lance Brewer (Erin); stepsons, James Valentine (Katie), Chuck Valentine and Randy Valentine; grandchildren, Taylor Ragle (Bella), Emily Ragle Gamble (Mitchell), Madison Balka (Grant), James Valentine (Cortney), Rachel Valentine, Hailey Valentine, and Hannah Valentine; brothers, Jim Redick (Cheryl), John Redick (Joella) and Joseph Redick; sisters, Sandra Barker and Vicki Woodie (Ray).
