Jacquelynne Utton, 89, passed away on July 19, 2025, peacefully at home.
Jackie was born on May 2, 1936, in Nashua, NH, raised in Barre, VT, married Kimball Utton in 1953 (who predeceased her), and lived in Montpelier, VT, until moving to Williston, VT, in 2014.
Jackie was a multi-faceted woman: a dog groomer, weaver, quilter, knitter, accomplished cook, and world traveler. She was always willing to lend a helping hand without being asked. And she could do the New York Times Sunday crossword in ink.
She is survived by her two daughters, Valerie and Nancy, and her brother Robert.
If you would like to honor her passing, a Catholic Mass will be held in memoriam at St. Augustine's Church, Montpelier, VT, on August 25, 2025, at 8:15 AM.

Dear Valerie and Nancy,
We are so sorry to hear about your mother's passing. She lived across the road from us on Connor Road in Montpelier for many years. She mentione you often whe we visited with her. She would make tea and have cookies for me and our young daughter. We remember Fergus trying to "herd" our daughter when she was a toddler, sitting on a blanket watching our two young sons and my husband while they played on the tennis court. She was a wonderful woman and we share in the sorrow of her passing.

Mrs. Utton is a great inspiration to me and my family Shazam Salut and Wicket
We live in Tucson Arizona now but used to live across from her in Williston
I have been in touch with her regularly for advice and a laugh
We will miss her but have very positive energy from knowing her
