A Memorial Service for Jacqulyn “Jackie” Lee Wine, 81, will be held at 4:00 p.m. Thursday, July 10, 2025 at Airline Church of Christ, 2125 Airline Dr., Bossier City, Louisiana. A private family burial was held at Hill Crest Memorial Park. Officiating the service will be Reverend Ben Brewster.
Jackie, a resident of Red Chute, Louisiana, was called home on Saturday, June 28, 2025. She was born on August 3, 1943 in Hondo, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Elva Borden. Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 64 years, Jamie Wine; two sons, Tim Wine and wife, Jackie and Charles Wine; brother, Max Borden and wife, Sandy; sister-in-law, Darliene Schwalen; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other extended family members and numerous wonderful friends.
Jackie was a member of Airline Church Christ. She worked at McConahy Oil and Gas for 12 years and as Executive Secretary for Virginia K. Shehee for 22 years.
Jackie loved the Lord. She knew the Bible and was a great bible teacher. She always put other people first. She was a servant, inspiration and example for a Christian wife, mother and friend.
She loved her family, her high school sweetheart and husband Jamie, and her two boys, Tim and Charles. There were some ups and downs, as in everyone’s life but her faith never wavered and helped her through down times. She was so proud of them.
She was one smart lady. Everyone depended on her to always take care of things. When she said “I’ll do it”- she did it!
So many were blessed with her friendship and love.
Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Charles Beckham, Andrew Brewster, Philip Butterfield, Sonny Cole, Charles Faktor, Martin John Faktor and Jim Montgomery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials may be made to Churches of Christ Disaster Relief Effort, P.O. Box 111180, Nashville, TN 37222-1180 or Bossier Kid’s, 2125 Airline Dr, Bossier City, LA 71111.
