Jaime Evilio Cabezas Trillo

Jaime Evilio Cabezas Trillo, 75, peacefully passed away on July 27, 2025, at home surrounded by his loving family, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Capillas, Peru on May 22, 1950, he was the beloved son of the late Angel Cabezas Campos and Lorgia Trillo Olivares.

Jaime dedicated many years of his life serving as an immigration officer for the Peruvian government. In 2001, he made East Longmeadow his home. A man of many talents, he found joy in dancing and cooking and was well known among family and friends for his warm hospitality and his signature drink. Above all, Jaime was a devoted family man, deeply involved in the lives of his children and cherished grandchildren.

He is lovingly remembered by his devoted wife of 42 years, Isabel Saavedra; his sons Jaime F. (and wife Lynn), Brian (and wife Victoria), and Jharet; his treasured grandchildren Jaime K. and Olivia; his siblings of the Cabezas Trillo family; and a wide circle of nieces, nephews, and extended family who will hold his memory close.

Family and friends are invited to gather on Friday, August 1, 2025, from 4 to 7 PM at Forastiere Smith Funeral & Cremation, 220 North Main Street, East Longmeadow, MA. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2025, beginning at 8:30 AM at the funeral home, followed by a Mass at 10 AM at St. Michael's Parish Church, Maple Street, East Longmeadow. Burial will take place at Greenlawn Cemetery.
