Jaime "Boboy" Rull Jr.

Jaime N. Rull, Jr., lovingly known as "Boboy," passed away unexpectedly on June 22, 2025, at the age of 43. A resident of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Boboy left this world far too soon, leaving behind cherished memories and countless lives touched by his kindness.
Born in Naga City, Philippines, Boboy grew up in Pili, Camarines Sur before immigrating to the United States with his family in 1994. He proudly graduated from Bayside High School in Virginia Beach and built his life here while always carrying his Filipino roots close to his heart.
For over a decade, Boboy worked as a medical courier for Sentara Health, where he was known for his reliability, work ethic, and helpful spirit. His passion for cars was evident through his close friendships within Team Blazin, and he was a proud collector of toys and firearms.
To know Boboy was to know a great friend - someone who would help at a moment's notice, no questions asked. His sense of humor, infectious smile, and easygoing nature brought joy to everyone around him.
Boboy is survived by his loving mother, Elsa Rull; his fiancée, Reena Gamboa; his older sister, Farrah Sabio, her husband Marty, and nephew Maddox; and his younger sister, Joyce Cunanan, her husband Paul, and nephew Alois Jai "A.J." He is now reunited with his father, Jaime V. Rull, Sr., in eternal peace.
Family and friends are invited to honor Boboy's life at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home – Princess Anne Chapel, located at 3445 Princess Anne Road, Virginia Beach, VA 23456. Viewing and visitation will be held on Friday, June 27, from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A Funeral service will follow on Saturday, June 28, at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel.
