Lourdes Flores Obituary
Nacida el 8 de enero de 1958 en Venezuela, hija de Felipe González y Francisca Santana, Lourdes vivió una vida arraigada en la fe, la compasión y el servicio. Fue bautizada en la fe cristiana a temprana edad y se mantuvo fiel a ella.
El 6 de junio de 1979, se casó con Samuel Flores y juntos formaron una familia amorosa cimentada en los valores de la fe, la esperanza y el amor.
Lourdes trabajó incansablemente como maestra y ama de casa, pero siempre priorizó su fe y su familia. Sus oraciones, sabiduría y ejemplo impactaron innumerables vidas.
Le sobreviven su esposo Samuel y sus tres hijos: Yeisy, Nathaly y Samuel Jr. Se reúne en el cielo con sus padres, algunos de sus hermanos y primos.
El servicio de despedida se llevará a cabo el 9 de agosto en la Funeraria Hollomon-Brown, con un velatorio a partir de las 15:00 h. A continuación, el entierro tendrá lugar en el Parque Memorial Colonial Grove.

With deep sadness but unwavering faith, we announce the passing of Lourdes Elena Flores, who entered eternal rest on August 3rd, 2025 in a loving home in Chesapeake, Va.
Born to Felipe Gonzalez and Francisca Santana on January 8, 1958 in Venezuela, Lourdes lived a life rooted in faith, compassion, and service. She was baptized into the Christian faith at an early age and remained devoted to her faith.
In June 6, 1979, she married Samuel Flores and together they raised a loving family grounded in the values of faith, hope, and love.
Lourdes worked tirelessly as a teacher and housewife, yet always prioritized her faith and family. Her prayers, wisdom, and example touched countless lives.
She leaves behind her husband Samuel, her three children, Yeisy, Nathaly and Samuel Jr. She reunites in Heaven with her parents, a few of her brothers and cousins.
Homegoing services will be held on August 9th at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, with a visitation beginning at 3 p.m. Burial will follow at Colonial Grove Memorial Park.
We rejoice in knowing that she now rests in the arms of her Savior.
