He is survived by one brother and four sisters, Lisa and Brian Williams, Tim and Tammy Nickell, Terry and Nan Gibson, Mike and Nicki Williams, Ann Nickell, daughter Ashley Mclaughlin, wife Debra, and many nieces and nephews.
He was a hard worker doing construction jobs, and factory work at Polaris Industries and then went on to his perfect job as a poker room dealer at Prairie Meadows Casino in Altoona, Iowa and retired in 2015 due to health problems. He loved cards and when he wasn't dealing he could be playing poker tournaments and won a few over the years. He moved to Bayard in 2019.
He made people laugh and have a good time when you were around him. He will be missed very much and not forgotten.
Celebration of life will be July 11, 2025 from 2 to 4 at Twigg Funeral Home in Guthrie Center, Iowa.
