Although we didn't see each other often, you were definitely a friend of more than 40 years. Your sense of humor will be what I remember the most. I am sure everyone will miss that, but oh, how Heaven will overflow with your corny jokes!! Keep 'em laughing up there!! RIP my friend, until we meet again.

I will miss you Uncle James. Thank you for being an example of what an incredible Father, Husband, Uncle, and Man looks like. I appreciate your love and support during many difficult times in my childhood. Coming to visit you, Aunt Kay, Christy, and Bubba was always a fun and happy experience. Enjoy your time in heaven!

This really sucks having to write a message like this.
James, I love you man....
Have lots of childhood memories and you are in a bunch of them. Growing up with you as my neighbor, was awesome. Always had fun doing things and just being around you. I have a couple memories that stick out and one was when it snowed, I believe in 1986. You and my dad tied up the hood of a car to a rope and drug that thing around the neighborhood with another vehicle. Haha. Good times for sure.
Then every year we would drive around with Santa in the neighborhood to hand out toys, just to make sure everyone got that chance to see Santa. You did that because of the person you were.
Remember you building demolition derby cars in the front yard. Ofcourse we were too young to help but we would act like we were helping.
At one point we even lived together. Having to deal with you daily wasn´t easy, JK. I always thought of you as a second father and I will definitely miss you. These last few years we didn´t see each other much but I´m so glad I got to see you a couple weeks ago.
Everyone knows I have been a truck driver for a long time. Some people ask me why I drive. You are one of the reasons I drive. Growing up and knowing you were a driver and my dad being a driver, it´s what I wanted to do. Your trucker handle was Redneck, and everyone that knows you understands why.
You were a great role model for me, Bubba and everyone else that came around.
You will be missed, and our lives will never be the same knowing you´re gone.
Mikey...

James,
I don't know where to begin. You were like the brother I never had. We had a friendship that couldn't be surpassed. We knew that we could count on each other anywhere or anytime. You have seen me at my best and at my worst, not many can say that.
R.I.P. my brother. You have been and always will be my friend. In closing it has been an honor and a privilege to have have known you.
