James Alumbaugh Obituary
ALUMBAUGH, James Howard- Age 84, of Ira, passed away April 18, 2025. Cremation Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton.
James was born November 23, 1940 in Damascus, AR the son of Bishop Marvin "Buck" and Alma (Lyons) Alumbaugh. He married Georgia Ruth Robinson in June of 1963. James was employed with GM for 30 years until his retirement in 1994. He was also a member of the UAW. James was known for keeping an immaculate yard. He also enjoyed sewing.
James is survived by his sons, Steven (Lisa) Alumbaugh of Ira and Thomas (Sarah) Alumbaugh of Texas; grandchildren, Chance (Jake) Schultz, and Allison Alumbaugh; and several nieces and nephews.
James was preceded in death by his parents; wife Georgia Ruth Alumbaugh on April 23, 2024, son, Michael Alumbaugh, and siblings, Lou Erma Smith, Bishop "Gene" Alumbaugh, Glenna Mae Higdon, Donna Dean Evans, and Marlyn Kenneth "Pete" Alumbaugh.
