James Apple Obituary
James was born on Wednesday, October 1, 1941, in Martins Creek, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Charlie Apple and the late Frances Gentry Apple. He was the husband of Patricia Apple.
James was a successful Cornwell tool salesman in the Upper Cumberland Area. He loved being outdoors, working in his yard, and gardening. He will be missed by many.
James is survived by his wife of 17 years, Tricia Apple, 1 Sister, Elizabeth Ann Apple Moles (Richard) Keller, 1 son, Tommy Dale (Regina) Apple, 3 grandchildren, Ray (Clair) Cobble, Ashlee (Todd) Yount, Taylor (Jessica) Ashburn, 8 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and special friends.
In addition to his parents, James is preceded in death by his first wife, Jelema Glow Maxwell, and 1 sister, Frances Carolyn Apple Allison
A Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Tuesday at Crest Lawn Funeral Home, located at 800 West Jackson Street, Cookeville, Tennessee 38501. Interment will be in Maxwell Cemetery in Baxter, Tennessee.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at Crest Lawn Funeral Home.
