Jack Taylor Williams, 89 of Buffalo Valley, Tennessee, passed from this life on Sunday, March 8, 2026, at his home surrounded by his family.

Jack was born on Tuesday, August 18, 1936, in Buffalo Valley, Tennessee, and he was the son of the late Jeff Taylor Williams and the late Flora Ann (Neal) Williams.

Jack was a loving son, husband, father, Pa, and friend. He proudly served in the United States Army. He was a lifelong member of Buffalo Valley Church of Christ. He was a farmer for most of his life and loved tending to his Angus cattle. He worked for the Army Corps of Engineers for 30-plus years and retired in 1994. He loved his family, especially spending time with his grandchildren. He loved to talk to anyone, eat, and ride the backroads with his dog in his old pickup truck. Jack was the president of the Buffalo Valley Community Center. Jack was loved by those who knew him, and he will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Betty (Bush) Williams; Son, Jerry Williams and his wife, Carol; Daughter, Pam Williams Lewis and her husband, Scotty; 5 Grandchildren, Travis Williams and his wife, Sandra, Stephanie McCaleb and her husband, Jonah, Jordan Williams and his wife Andi, Samantha Vescera and her husband, Mike, and Seth Lewis; 2 Great-grandchildren, Abel and Karina Williams; Cousins, Nancy Schroeder, Ron Strbenac, Betty Maynard, and Janice Carr.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents.

Pallbearers will be Mark Herd, Mark Pedigo, Adam Jolley, Taylor Boyd, Billy Boyd, and Bo Watts.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Travis Williams, Jordan Williams, Seth Lewis, Mike Vescera, Jonah McCaleb, and Larry Tucker.

Graveside Service for Jack Taylor Williams will be held on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at 1:00 pm at Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery with Bro. Chris Ramsey officiating. Full Military Honors will be provided by the Veterans Honor Guard.
