Lucas Funeral Home - KellerJames John Armon, born on February 28, 1939, in Greenfield, Wisconsin, passed away on September 8, 2025, in Justin, Texas. He lived a life marked by dedication to service, both in his professional and personal pursuits.
James had a distinguished career as a Border Patrol agent, where he devoted himself to the protection and security of his community. His commitment to service extended beyond his role in border security, as he also served his country with honor in the United States Air Force.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, James was a passionate carpenter, taking great pride in his craftsmanship and the homes he created. He was also an active member of the Lions Club, where he engaged in community service, further reflecting his desire to give back to those around him.
James is survived by his beloved wife, Patricia Armon. He was a proud father to sons Steven Armon and Jay Armon, and cherished his role as grandfather to Austin, Justin, and Brady.
Preceding him in death were his parents, John and Ruby Armon, along with his siblings: brothers William and Robert, sisters Mary and Marjorie, and his daughter Cheryl.
James John Armon’s legacy will live on through his family and the many lives he touched throughout his journey. His family will honor his memory during an inurnment service scheduled for October 30, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, located at 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX.
The family requests that memorials be made to Blood Cancer Society.
