James Allen Baker

James Allen Baker, 57, husband of Diana Cooley Baker died Sunday, October 2, 2022 at the James B Haggin Memorial/Ephraim McDowell Hospital in Harrodsburg. Born February 28, 1965 in Mercer County, he was the son of Wanda Lyons Coslow of Harrodsburg and the late Jim Baker. He was the Technician In Charge (Diesel Mechanic) for Worldwide Equipment and a member of the Dry Branch Baptist Church. He enjoyed truck pulls, anything that pertained to Elvis and watching Judge Judy.
Survivors in addition to his wife and mother include, one son: James Edward Baker of Harrodsburg, one daughter: Tabitha Lynn (Wes Bjornsson) Baker of Harrodsburg and one brother: Earl Baker of Danville. He is also survived by his dogs: Bulma, Spot and Jack.
He was preceded in death by his stepfather: Roger Coslow.
Funeral services will be conducted, 1:00 P.M., Friday, October 7, 2022 at the Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home with John Kesel officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Pleasant Church Cemetery with Hunter Diaz, Big Bobby Joe Blacketer, Bobby Joe Blacketer, John Blacketer, Clarence Hicks and David Lyons serving as pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers will be Bill Dearinger, Anthony Nelson, Damien McGuire and Wes Bjornsson.
Visitation will be held 11:00 A.M. until the time of service Friday, October 7, 2022 at the Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home.
