Jim passed at the grand old age of 91! I was only able to share in the last few years of his life, but he was so eager to share his life history with me. What an amazing man of God! What treasures of knowledge he shared with me. From his growing up in Springfield and how it looked 'way back when', to his service in the Army/Air Force, to his many varied job experiences around the country, but his home and heart was Springfield. He married and never forgot his dear wife and I'm sure they're dancing on those golden streets and she's showing him around our beautiful forever home! He had missions folks stay at their home, sponsored many Bible studies and churches, and supported the Full Gospel Businessmen's Fellowship in Springfield. He kept up with his church online due to his declining health, but continued to share Jesus and the Bible with whoever he came across. He was constantly learning and had a wide variety of interests. He was a dedicated Christian, husband, father, grandpa and even had fun picking out toys for the greatgrandchildren! He loved watching the squirrels, birds and lately a cat. He was a dear and special man and if you didn't get to know him down here, be sure and catch him for a good talk up there!
