James Kenneth Bare Sr., beloved husband, father, brother, and son, passed away leaving behind a legacy of love, devotion, and family.
Born to Hansel and Eleanor Bare, James grew up surrounded by the warmth of a large and close-knit family. On October 19, 1968, he married the love of his life, Karen Bare (Cook), beginning a partnership that spanned decades and was marked by unwavering commitment and joy. Together, they built a home filled with laughter, resilience, and enduring love.
James was a proud father to Kimberly Trent, James Kenneth Bare Jr., and Timothy James Bare, each of whom carry forward his values of kindness, strength, and dedication. His role as a father was central to his life, and he cherished every moment spent with his children and family.
He shared a lifelong bond with his siblings. He is survived by Richard Bare and Daniel Bare, and preceded in death by Robert Bare, Larry Bare, Tom Bare, Bonnie Lou Meinl, and Glenda Necker. His family ties were deep, and he held each sibling close to his heart, honoring their memory and celebrating their lives.
James is also survived by more than a dozen grandchildren and great-grandchildren, each of whom brought him immense joy and pride. His legacy continues through them, as they carry forward his love and spirit into future generations.
James will be remembered for his steadfast love, his gentle humor, and his ability to bring comfort and strength to those around him. His presence was a source of stability and joy, and his absence will be deeply felt by all who knew him.
A life so beautifully lived deserves to be beautifully remembered. A celebration of life will be held at a later date for family and friends, where his memory will be honored and cherished.
