James L. Barner
James L. Barner, age 94, of Millcreek Twp., passed away on December 1, 2023 at Manchester Commons after an extended illness. He was born on December 27, 1928 in Williamsport, PA, the son of the late Lee R. and Ruth E. Moore Barner.
He served in the US Marine Corp during WWII. He was employed with the National Weather Service for many years.
He enjoyed camping.
He was preceded in death by his wife Helen Barner in 2009 and his son Jimmy Barner.
He is survived by one daughter Linda and her partner Carol and one son Clay Barner (Pam), and one grandson Zachary.
Private services were conducted through the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd.

Just saw this Clay...Sorry to hear about your dad's passing. I always loved talking to him as he'd stop at the end of the driveway to watch the squirells. He was always a pleasure to speak with. RIP "Big Jim"
