James Barrett Obituary
He was born July 09,1940 in St. Louis, Missouri the son of James and Elennor (Dowd) Barrett..
James was baptized of the catholic faith. He worked as a Union Concrete Finisher, Local 527, St. Louis, Missouri. James was raised and worked in St. Louis most of his life. He and his wife moved to Stoutsville, Missouri near the Mark Twain Lake to make their home in 2005. James was an avid outdoorsman. He loved hunting and fishing whenever he could go. He will be deeply missed by all that knew him.
He married Beth Gettle May 01,1981 she survives of the home.
He is survived by one son Ronnie Barrett, one daughter Christine Barrett, one stepson James Gettle, two grandchildren Olivia Barrett and Kimberly Ledbetter, two greatgrandchildren Jacob Ledbetter and Natalie Ledbetter, two brothers Kenneth and Gary Barrett, two sisters Patty Burke and Loraine Robinson, he is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter Lisa Barrett, one brother and one stepson Jason Colvin.
There are no services at this time. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Garner Funeral Home & Chapel, Monroe City, Missouri. Online condolences can be made to garnerfuneralchapel.com.
