Jim Behringer, 74, was called home on June 26, 2025. Born in Canton, Ohio to Robert Behringer and the late Jackie Behringer. He worked at The Flood Co. in Hudson for over 20 years. He was an active member of First EC Church and spent many years volunteering for the Lord.
Preceded in death by his mother, Jackie Behringer, and his brother, Tim Behringer. Survived by his wife of 45 years, Sherry Behringer; his 3 children, Andrea (Tim) Carver, Robert (Erica) Strickland, Kara (Mark) Reigle; 7 grandchildren, Cory, Mitchell, Zak, Talan, Rileigh, Payton and Quinn; father, Robert Behringer; his sister, Jeannie Milnes (Butch); his brothers, Dan Behringer, Bill (Theresa) Behringer, Dave Behringer, and Ken Behringer; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Kim and Rob Hardy; sister-in-law, Beverly Henry; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and his beloved dog, Tilly
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital (stjude.org)
Family and friends will be received Wednesday, July 2nd from 1 to 4pm at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44312. The funeral service will begin at 4pm.
