James and I have been friends since the second grade at Barney. We were both born in Pavo in 1943. His death came as a complete surprise to me. I am now thinking of the many Sunday afternoons we spent together, either at his house riding his horse or playing at my house.
May God bless James and give peace and comfort to his family.
With much sadness,
Lee Surrett
