Of Williamsville, at age 80. Beloved husband of 40 years to Alberta M. (nee Previte) Bodecker; devoted father of James (Melanie) Bodecker II, Christopher (Deneen) Lalock, Lisa (Brian Tuttle) Shaw, and Kevin (Andrea Griffin) Lalock; loving grandfather of Kaitlyn (Kyle), Abby (Jamey), Paden, Patrick, Andrew, and Matthew; dear brother of the late Shirley Nimmo; also survived by many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 30th, from 4-8 PM at the (Amherst Chapel) AMIGONE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 5200 Sheridan Dr. (at Hopkins Rd), where prayers will be offered Thursday, October 31st at 9:15 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at SS. Peter & Paul Church, at 10 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his memory to the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation, 733 Third Avenue, Ste. 510, New York, NY 10017. We are so very sorry to hear of Jim´s passing. He was a wonderful neighbor and friend to Bernice, Greg and Bill. Guy and I would count on seeing him and your Mom at Matt´s Christmas gathering. Always was a delight to talk with them both and catch up on family happenings. Keeping Bert and the family in our prayers.
