Arrangements by Spitzer-Miller Funeral Home, 1111 South Main Street.

James Howard Bomar was born February 16, 1961, to William and Jeanette (Palm) Bomar in Aberdeen. He grew up and attended school in Aberdeen. Jim married Kori Dwight in 1978. Together they had two sons, Michael in 1978 and Charles in 1979. Jim worked in construction for over 20 years, mostly for Elmer "EZ Builders" Zahn. He retired in 2000 and continued to make Aberdeen his home.

In 1990, Jim met Natalie Neuharth and they blended their family with his two sons, Mike and Charlie, and her daughter Natasha. From then on, they were one family. What ensued was a life of fun, laughter and hard work, with a few spats thrown in for good measure. The family faced their worst moment when they lost Charlie in 1996 at his young age of 17. It weighs heavy on their hearts still. They finally tied the knot on July 24, 2021. Jim said it was a good excuse for a party, and Natalie joked that it was on her bucket list. But it was one of their greatest days.

Jim was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and loved watching NASCAR. He enjoyed camping, gardening and playing cards with his good friends. Jim and Natalie enjoyed traveling and especially enjoyed a trip they took to Ireland hosted by the family of their good friend Doc Harry Lynch. They also liked hosting gatherings with friends and family. Everyone was welcomed to their screen porch in the summer. They hosted many Easter and Thanksgiving meals for friends who did not have family to gather with. Jim will truly be missed.

Grateful for having shared Jim's life are his wife, Natalie Neuharth, his children, Mike Bomar and Natasha (Cody) Dutch, grandchildren: Layla Bomar, Addi Osborne, Weezy Anderson, Forrest Anderson, and Race Dutch, two nephews, Zachary Bomar and Nick Bomar, and his beloved dog, Trouble.

Preceding Jim in death are his parents, William and Jeanette Bomar, one son, Charles Bomar, and his brothers, John and Charles Bomar.
