James C. Bruno

James Charles "Jimmy" Bruno, 76, of Bethlehem, PA passed away Thursday, December 4, 2025 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg. He was the husband of Paulette (Kolomber) Bruno and father of Joel Bruno, Matthew Bruno, and Nicholas Bruno, all of Bethlehem, PA. Born in Indianapolis, IN, he was the son of the late Charles J. and Irene (Csondor) Bruno. He was a graduate of Fair Lawn High School in Fair Lawn, NJ and Dominican College of Racine, WI with a degree in business.

Jimmy most recently worked in the business sales department at iQor. Prior to this he was employed in sales at Tarkett Flooring and Bethlehem Steel where he met Paulette. Jimmy was a humble, kind, and gentle person who loved animals, especially his family's own cats, dogs and lop-eared rabbits. He was an avid fisherman, bowler, and bicycle rider. He enjoyed spending time at the casinos, and he never missed the Great Allentown Fair. Jimmy was a zealot fan of both the New York Jets and New York Mets as well as acid rock music.

He was a member of St. John the Baptist Church and also attended Mass at Notre Dame Church in Bethlehem.

In addition to his wife and 3 sons, Jimmy is survived by his brother Michael Bruno, husband of Andrea of Swarthmore, PA and sisters Carol Rudé of Rose Valley, PA and Patricia Bruno of Newtonville, MA.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, December 15, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Cathedral Church of St.. Catherine of Siena, 1825 W. Turner Street, Allentown, PA 18104. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM at the church. Inurnment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Allentown.
